Here is a little information about me.
A mother (of 4), grandmother (of 6), great grandmother (of 1) with over 20+ years of experience in counselling and coaching people who are looking to improve their life. This may be by finding a new career, developing speaking skills or building self-confidence.
Over the years I have helped hundreds of people with resume preparation, practice interviews, cover letters and building their confidence while job searching. I have also helped those who are looking to increase or develop their communication skills so that they will be more comfortable when answering questions in interviews, meetings or in making presentations.
I am an author and have published two books so far.
My most recent one was a book of poetry entitled “From My Heart”, which is available on Amazon.
I also am a member of a public speaking organization called Toastmasters. I achieved the designation of DTM, which is Distinguished Toastmaster. I have served on the executive of several clubs and been the Area Director 3 times. I also spent a year as the Public Relations Officer for the District. My favourite role on the Executive is Vice President Public Relations.
My Thoughts on Mentoring
Here is a recent interview I did on Mentoring within Toastmasters with Scott McLaughlin. He has been doing a series for Toastmasters and invited me to participate with him. Thanks Scott for recording this and sharing it.
